About us

Mike Grace

Starting the winery is a dream being fulfilled by Mike, of working for himself and being involved with something he enjoys and has a passion for. This has been a long road, starting where many do, simply enjoying wine with others. However, the curiosity got sparked and he started studying what made wines different, chasing those bottles that were unique from all the others.

Eventually this lead to helping and visiting other wineries during crush, getting a better understanding of the process and work involved. He knew he was hooked while still smiling even though cold and wet working outside on a rainy fall day with John Bell at Willis Hall Winery. The statement “This must be the romance they talk about?” is something that still makes Mike chuckle. This all lead to the desire to have a complete understanding of all the intricate ways a wine could be influenced. Mike enrolled in enology courses through the University of California Davis Campus, eventually receiving a Wine Maker’s certificate.

Mike still has his day job working for Boeing Commercial Aircraft, but plans on turning this adventure into the next career path. One that will give Mike and his lovely wife the opportunity to share something they have a passion for, wine, life and friends.

Barbara Grace

Barb is a very strong driving force for the winery allowing Mike to dream, yet knowing how to keep him grounded while allowing for the exploration of a great and exciting opportunity.

Barb is currently an Ultrasound Technician that has joined Mike on this new journey. She is not only the head Cellar Rat, but the Boss as well. She provides the guidance Mike needs at times when the dream grows too big, keeping him grounded. Barb also wishes to turn this journey into a new career, allowing the two of them to enjoy and share the success of developing a business together as well as beautiful wines to share.

Living our dreams

The Journey started on a cold winter night, sharing a bottle of wine, when the question of what if was asked. From that point on the course was set to develop a new career path and a lifestyle to share with friends and family.

A note from the Grace's

We would both like to take the opportunity to thank those that have helped us in many ways, during the course of our journey, be it through the use of their equipment, their time physically helping process the fruit and wine, and especially those that were more than willing to share the very valued knowledge they had, speeding up and eased the learning curve. It has all meant the world to us and we hope to continue sharing this journey with you all.

Thank You!!!
